Oroville Economic Development Corporation (OEDCO) is a non-profit private coporation. It is comprised of local business people working together to insure Oroville's economic strength and vitality.

Our Mission is to further the economic development of the Oroville area and its environs, promote and assist the growth and development of all business concerns to the benefit of the Oroville Community;

Advance the civic development, social, infrastructure and economic growth of Oroville;

Assist existing business wishing to remain or expand in the Oroville area;

Actively recruit businesses to locate or relocate to the Oroville area.

GOVERNMENT THAT IS HELPFUL.

            Sometimes we think that business can be more successful without government intervention.  Most business people will admit that some of the largest obstacles they encounter are cumbersome government regulations and fees.  Businesses would rather do what they know best, produce a service or a product-than be filling out government forms and undergoing inspections.

The mission of the California Technology Investment Partnership Program (CalTIP) is to accelerate the development of new, globally competitive technology-based commercial products and services from California firms and consortia.
